The Door Home

When privileged Pakistanis spend time in the west, it’s very easy for them to go back home. In fact, life is very easy for them. Their definition of Pakistan is very different from 99% of the population. They come and go as they please and live in a bubble that's air-conditioned and impervious to reality. They have the means and opulent luxuries that enable them to gloss over the realities that surround them. No one suffers and barely anyone pays any taxes. Instead they choose to live in the sheltered childhood world of cricket, happiness and wealth.
